What is on our site?

The aim of this website is to provide up-to-date information for patients and professionals on painful bladder syndrome / interstitial cystitis, with overviews of other pelvic pain and prostate disorders, overactive bladder and incontinence. This will allow visitors to the site to compare the symptoms of the different disorders and help to indicate where a patient may have overlapping symptoms. The site also provides information on PBS/IC and associated disorders including extensive information on PBS/IC and Sjögren’s syndrome.

The IPBF publishes regular email newsletters on the latest international developments in the field and these are also posted on the site. If you would like to receive the newsletter by email, please contact info@painful-bladder.org. Reports on national and international conferences can be found under News & Reviews. Also on the site is a regularly updated selection of the latest scientific literature with links to PubMed abstracts where available.

The IPBF Publications section contains downloadable brochures and articles as well as “toilet cards” in various languages. We hope that this site will contribute towards helping patients worldwide to get the right diagnosis and best possible treatment.
